The Utah Jazz are looking to make a big move or two this offseason when free agency opens up this evening. One player that they have been targeting is Indiana Pacers' impending free agent forward Bojan Bogdanovic. More details have emerged about their plans to pursue him.

According to a report from Tony Jones of The Athletic, the Jazz are set to meet with Bogdanovic when free agency opens today.

The Jazz were going to meet with Bobby Portis when free agency opened, but that meeting has been shelved until the team finds out what will happen with Bogdanovic.

Bogdanovic is one of the best forwards available this offseason in free agency. He is coming off of a huge season with the Pacers. Victor Oladipo suffered a season-ending injury, which forced Bogdanovic into a much larger role.

During the 2018-19 season with the Pacers, Bogdanovic ended up averaging 18.0 points per game to go along with 4.1 rebounds and 2.0 assists. He shot 49.7 percent from the floor overall and knocked down 42.5 percent of his three-point attempts. Those numbers show why the Jazz have such interest in him.

He would fit Utah's offense well and would help take pressure off of Donovan Mitchell. Mike Conley was acquired earlier this offseason as well. The three could help push the Jazz towards the top of the West.

Indiana would like to re-sign Bogdanovic, but the Jazz appear to be serious contenders for him right off the bat.

Expect to hear more about Bogdanovic in the next 24 hours. He may not sign on the first night, but it shouldn't take long to find out where he will play the next chapter of his career.
