After a convincing win for the Utah Jazz against the Atlanta Hawks by a score of 128-112, Donovan Mitchell dumped Gatorade all over Rudy Gobert.

The Stifle Tower had 25 points and 13 rebounds in that game, impacting the game markedly.

Gobert was in the news all day after he was snubbed by the coaches and didn't make the All-Star reserves list. A clause in his contract states that if he makes the team, he gets a $1 million bonus. Gobert was noticeably upset when asked about the snub and even fought hard to hold back his tears.

He told Fox Channel 13 in Salt Lake City:

“It was a rough night, you know, my mom called me crying. It was tough, but it is what it is…Yes, it's always going to be that way, and…. uh, sorry.”

Gobert then ran off in tears, very upset over the whole ordeal.

This led to outrage online, especially when Golden State Warriors teammates Draymond Green and Andre Iguodala poked fun of Gobert's breakdown.

On the season, Gobert is averaging 15 points, 12.8 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 2.2 blocks over 31.6 minutes per game while shooting a league-best 65 percent from the floor and 64.8 percent from beyond the arc.

As of this writing, the Jazz own a record of 29-23 and has been playing terrific basketball of late, having won nine of its last 11 games.
