For those unaware of Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell's explosive dunking ability, here is an example from the first half of Wednesday's contest versus the Minnesota Timberwolves:

Timberwolves forward Robert Covington is generally hailed as a premier defender around the league, but not even he had any chance of impeding Mitchell on his path to the rim on this drive.

Without Mike Conley in the mix over the last handful of games, Mitchell has served as the team's primary point guard, but that hasn't changed his offensive mentality.

After having averaged better than 20 points per game in each of his first two seasons without an All-Star appearance to his credit, Mitchell has moved that number up to 24.7 points per contest entering Wednesday, eyeing that first All-Star berth in addition to a return to the postseason for Utah.
