Utah Jazz star Donovan Mitchell is really feeling it against the New Orleans Pelicans at the Smoothie King Arena on Thursday, as he nailed a ridiculous bank shot to beat the halftime buzzer.

With 2.3 ticks left before the end of the first half, Utah's Joe Ingles barreled his way to the teeth of the Pelicans' defense to try and make a play. Bothered by the tight D, Ingles gave the ball up to a trailing Mitchell who had the presence of mind to simply chuck the ball up as the horn sounded.

Mitchell threw in an awkward right-handed floater which somehow managed to hit the backboard before sailing through the net. His last-second heave gave the Jazz a 56-49 lead entering the third quarter.

Donovan Mitchell has been tearing it up for Utah as of late and is primed to make his first-ever All-Star team come February. He had 10 points in 18 minutes of action in the first half. One the season, Mitchell is averaging 24.2 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 4.4 assists.
