As if going down 2-0 against the defending champion Cleveland Cavaliers wasn't enough, the Indiana Pacers suffered another blow when they saw their starting point guard get hurt on Monday night.

Jeff Teague apparently injured his right wrist after a bad fall, and will need to undergo x-rays to check for any structural damage. It's unclear when he exactly hurt it, but if there's any good news for the team at this point, the 28-year-old Wake Forest product was able to play through the pain and finish the game.

With the series heading to Indianapolis, the Pacers have their backs against the wall and badly need to win Game 3, to avoid digging themselves a 3-0 hole — a very difficult situation to get out off.

Teague was part of a three-team deal last summer and many had high hopes that he would turn out to be the point guard they've always wanted. He had a very solid regular season where he averaged 15.3 points, 4.0 rebounds, 7.8 assists, and 1.2 steals per game.

The Indiana faithful, as well as the Pacers organization, are hoping it's nothing serious and that he'll be able to suit up in their next match. He has been an important part of their rotation and should they play without him, it will force head coach Nate McMillan to give extended minutes to Aaron Brooks.
