Social media is a very unforgiving platform. All posts are kept and can be dug up even after years have gone by. Jerami Grant learned about that the hard way recently.
After getting traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder for Ersan Ilyasova on Tuesday, fans quickly brought up a tweet he made back in 2011 calling his new team's superstar, Russell Westbrook, with a term which is a synonym of excrement.
Grant was still back in high school at that time and he never thought he'd be in the NBA today and be a teammate of the five-time All-Star. So in order to make things up to Westbrook, he posted another tweet, but this time giving high praise to him and even calling him the league MVP.

Westbrook has not responded by tweeting anything regarding this yet but as he has shown in the past, it won't be surprising if he won't make one at all. He is focused on the task at hand and that is to win.
Grant likely earned more respect from Westbrook when he dunked all over Kevin Durant in last night's game vs. the Warriors.
