Ever since Le'Veon Bell joined the New York Jets in 2019, there has been a narrative created that he and head coach Adam Gase don't see eye-to-eye.

Despite the rumors of their fractured relationship, Bell revealed the truth about his relationship with Gase.

“I don’t understand why everybody is trying to put me and Gase against each other,” Bell said, via Rich Cimini of ESPN.com. “We’re not against each other. I don’t understand why it’s so hard to believe, but we actually like each other. . . . It was no big deal. It was just a miscommunication between me, the trainers and Coach Gase. But I just want to really clear it up for everybody, fantasy owners and everybody: My hamstring is fine.”

Dating back to last season, it was reported that Gase wasn't a fan of the Jets signing him in free agency. On top of that, there were rumors that Bell could be dealt ahead of the NFL's trade deadline in 2019.

Nevertheless, he's still with the team, and early in training camp, there seemed to be a misunderstanding between the two. Early in training camp, Gase iterated that Bell was dealing with hamstring issues. On the other hand, Bell quickly refuted Gase's comments, saying he wasn't injured at all.

There's no doubt that Gase and Bell haven't been able to get on the same page since both of their arrivals in 2019. Regardless of what it looks like, Bell is vehemently denying that he and Gase have any bad blood. Only time will tell if Bell and Gase can coexist beyond the 2020 season.
