New York Jets coach Adam Gase isn't happy with the way his first game in charge of his new team ended. The Jets had every chance to win against the Buffalo Bills, but their inability to grow their lead larger during the first half, hurt them in the second half.

The Bills turned the ball over four times during the first half, but they only managed six points from them, and that was the one that C.J. Mosley returned all the way to the end zone.

After the game, Gase said he was more angry than disappointed, and he knows the team needs to turn it around quickly.

“It’s never fun to lose,” Gase said via Pro Football Talk. “I’m sure that’s how everybody affiliated with our organization feels and all of our fans. Nobody is happy. You lose, you lose, whether it’s by one or 50.”

One of the other big issues in the first week was with the kicker. The Jets claimed Kaare Vedvik after he struggled in the preseason with the Vikings and he continued those struggles on Sunday. He missed an extra point and a 45-yard field goal attempt. When asked about Vedvik's job security, Gase said it's something they would look at Monday.

“We’ll see what happens on Monday,” Gase said via NewsDay. “I don’t know. I haven’t had a chance to have a conversation with personnel guys. We’ll have more as we go.”

If Vedvik had made either of those kicks the outcome of game one could have been different.
