Coming as no surprise, the New York Jets have continued to struggle. Head coach Adam Gase has been dealt a tough hand early in 2019. The first-year Jets head coach has been forced to turn to his third-string quarterback while New York has yet to win a single game this season and sits at an imperfect 0-4 as it stands today.

With the quarterback situation ultimately leading to second-year signal caller Luke Falk in Week 5 against the Philadelphia Eagles, Gase still took the majority of the blame for his team's continued offensive struggles. The Jets were defeated by the Eagles 31-6 on Sunday afternoon in Philadelphia.

“The defense is playing good, the special teams is playing good,” Gase recently told reporters, via NBC Sports' Pro Football Talk. “We all know what group needs to play better. That’s on me. So I told those guys in there, I’ll get it fixed. It’s on me, it’s on nobody else, so that’s what we’re going to do.”

Gase's Jets managed a mere 128 yards on offense in addition to allowing 10 sacks in Week 5. Not only that, but the Jets had the Eagles return two of Falk‘s three turnovers for touchdowns in the blowout loss. The only New York score came by way of wide receiver Vyncint Smith, who scored a 19-yard touchdown one play after Eagles wide out Corey Coleman muffed a punt.

With the Jets already losing to the Buffalo Bills, Cleveland Browns, New England Patriots and Eagles, New York will face the Dallas Cowboys in Week 6.
