The New York Jets have decided to give Adam Gase another season as the head coach in 2020 and Antonio Cromartie isn't a fan of the decision. While speaking to TMZ Sports, Cromartie says that he doesn't like Gase as the Jets head coach.

Last offseason, New York fired Todd Bowles and gathered a list of possible replacements. After trying to lure Matt Rhule from the college ranks, the Jets landed on Gase as the franchise's next head coach. Rhule turned down the job once he found out he wouldn't be able to assemble his own coaching staff.

In his first season calling the shots, Gase and the Jets compiled a 7-9 record and were third place in the AFC East. Throughout the season, many people were critical of how Gase utilized Le'Veon Bell in the offense. Cromartie pointed to Bell's usage (or lack thereof) as a reason why Gase should be ousted.

“We don't give our running back the ball in the second half of a game,” Cromartie said via TMZ Sports. “It just shows you that you're trying to say that you don't need him.”

When asked about who should replace Gase, Cromartie quickly replied with Eric Bieniemy—the offensive coordinator of the Kansas City Chiefs. Over the past couple of years, Bieniemy has drawn interest from teams as a head coaching candidate under Andy Reid.

For the time being, the Jets seem content with Gase being the guy leading the locker room. However, if it were up to Cromartie—and likely other fans in New York—Gase would've already been fired.
