Breshad Perriman joined the New York Jets this offseason and he's confident that it was the right choice. Ahead of his first year with the Jets, Perriman claims that New York's offense can be ‘dangerous' in 2020:

“I think we can be really dangerous, and I feel like that’s everybody’s expectations coming into it,” Perriman said, via the team’s website.

Just a season ago, Perriman was able to have the best year of his career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The former first-round selection of the Baltimore Ravens would record a career-high 36 receptions for 645 yards and six touchdowns.

Following his career year, Perriman hit the open market and didn't receive much interest from teams. However, after considering his options, the UCF product would ink a one-year deal with the Jets.

Seeing all of the moves that New York made this offseason, it's evident they want to give Sam Darnold the best chance to succeed. While the Jets lost Robby Anderson, Perriman is expected to fill his role in the aerial attack. Meanwhile, rookie Denzel Mims figures to have an immediate impact on the offense as well.

Besides the wide receiver position, New York also strengthened the offensive line, signing George Fant, Connor McGovern, and Greg Van Roten. Also, the Jets were able to add rookie Mekhi Becton in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft.

On paper, the Jets have a decent offensive group around Darnold, with Perriman, Mims, Jamison Crowder, and All-Pro Le'Veon Bell. Despite the limitations the team has had this offseason, Perriman thinks that New York can be vastly better on offense in 2020.
