The feud between Kelechi Osemele and the New York Jets doesn't seem to be coming to an end anytime soon. Ahead of Monday's contest against the New England Patriots, Osemele is anticipating another fine for missing the game.

This entire situation began when the veteran offensive guard exclaimed that he had a torn labrum in his shoulder. Osemele was advised by team doctors and an individual doctor to get season-ending surgery. But the Jets believe that Osemele is lying.

A team source is saying that the doctors told Osemele that he can play through the pain of the injury. At the same time, he's said that he's been taking Toradol (a non-steroid anti-inflammatory drug that helps reduce pain) given to him by team doctors to endure the first three weeks of the season.

Recently, Osemele has refused to practice due to the handling of the situation and he's finally been added to New York's injury report. However, with him refusing to practice, the team fined him an undisclosed amount for ‘conduct detrimental to the team'.

With Osemele missing Monday night's game, Alex Lewis is slated to get the start at left guard. While Osemele remains away from the team, it's expected that the Jets will continue to discipline him.

In light of that, the former Oakland Raiders guard will file a grievance against the Jets through the NFLPA. As for New York, they will likely suspend Osemele if they are unable to get him back onto the practice field in the coming days.
