New York Jets safety Jamal Adams decided to offer a little inspiration to Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown while also throwing out a recruiting pitch.

Brown has had an interesting week after reports suggested that he was benched for the Week 17 matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals due to an altercation with a teammate, which turned out to be star quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.

Now, with Brown reportedly being very frustrated with the franchise, rumors as to whether he could be traded are starting to ramp up.

Naturally, with Adams not being shy about his desire for the Jets to go out and add playmakers this offseason, he thought he'd make it completely clear to Brown that he would be welcomed with open arms in New York.

Adams was not shy when asked about where the team needed to go from here, and he clearly has no problem trying to do what he can to help the Jets find success.

New York fired former head coach Todd Bowles on Sunday after a disappointing 4-12 season, and the front office is already focusing its efforts on finding his replacement with several candidates already lined up for interviews.

It's also worth noting that Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell will be among the top players available this offseason, so perhaps Adams will take his recruiting efforts up a notch in an attempt to bring both playmakers to New York.

Either way, this is a crucial offseason for the Jets as they look to get back on track.
