New York Jets running back Le'Veon Bell disappointed a lot of people last season when he didn't suit up for the Pittsburgh Steelers, but it wasn't just fans of his team that were upset, it was also people who drafted him for their fantasy football team.

Bell was a first-round draft pick in most leagues last year, especially the ones who drafted early in training camp or preseason who still believed he would come back. It cost many people a chance at a championship, and during a media availability on Thursday he apologized to those fans.

Bell told the media he wished he could have given fantasy football owners a signal that he wouldn't be playing at all last season.

Bell made it clear that he wasn't sorry for sitting out last year, but he is sorry for the fantasy owner that took him in their drafts.

Bell was asked where he should be taken this year, and he gave a very quick response, “first.” That is high confidence for a guy who hasn't played in over a year and is now playing for a new team with a new coach in Adam Gase.

Bell has made it clear this offseason that he is ready for whatever the Jets throw his way and even said earlier during camp that he would be okay having 500 touches if that means the team would be winning the Super Bowl.

Fantasy owners who drafted him last year, have no fear this year, Bell is ready to make it up to you.
