The New York Jets are going into their Monday Night Football matchup shorthanded. Their starting quarterback, Sam Darnold is going to be out with a bizarre case of mono, and their new linebacking weapon C.J. Mosley looks to be out as well.

Fortunately enough for the Jets, their starting running back, Le'Veon Bell is expected to play after his MRI. Bell even tweeted out the “great news” when he was told he could play.

“My shoulder is fine so no worries…just had to make sure everything was ready to go for Monday night. Let’s get it.”

He did miss Thursday's practice, but head coach Adam Gase says that it's only precautionary and that he would only sit him for the game if it was “anything worse” than soreness. And luckily for New York, they won't miss out on Bell's production. Last game he rushed for 60 yards on 17 carries and caught six passes for 32 yards and a touchdown.

It's unsure as to how much they will utilize their high-priced offensive weapon with Trevor Siemian at quarterback. But it should be expected to be a lot for the workhorse back that is Bell.

He's used to games in which he's expected to carry the ball more than 25 times in a game from his time in Pittsburgh. And he's one of the better receiving options for the Jets with his ability as a pass-catcher and route runner. Expect to see a lot of Le'Veon Bell in New York's Monday Night matchup against the Cleveland Browns.
