Le'Veon Bell sat out the entire 2018 season and cost some people a chance to win in fantasy football. The New York Jets running back knows he may have let some people down, but he's ready to make up for it in 2019.

Recently on Twitter, Bell jokingly apologized to fantasy football owners who picked him in 2018:

Le'Veon Bell made it known that this year will be different and he's helping people win championships. If we're getting a heavily motivated Bell in 2019, it's safe to say he's a viable pick in the first round.

As everyone knows, Bell had a contract dispute with the Pittsburgh Steelers before the 2018 season. The Steelers placed the franchise tag on the dual-threat back for the second season in a row. Besides that, Pittsburgh offered a contract, but Bell and his camp didn't view it as a worthwhile deal.

Therefore, Bell decided to avoid any possible injury in a contract year and sat out the 2018 season. Fantasy football owners and Steelers fans were up in arms with the running back's decision. Some were lucky to secure James Conner from the waiver wire, but others weren't as fortunate.

Most Le'Veon Bell owners were left out to dry and were stuck cutting a guy they drafted in the first or second round of their fantasy draft. That's a tough pill to swallow.

Nonetheless, Le'Veon Bell is motivated to get back on the field with his new team in 2019 and help people win their fantasy leagues as well. Adjust your fantasy football rankings accordingly.
