The New York Jets finally managed to get back in the win column with their victory over the New York Giants in Week 10. Unfortunately, it appears running back Le'Veon Bell may not be able to get much practice in this week.

According to Brian Costello of the New York Post, Bell missed practice with an illness:

The Jets have had some experience with their players dealing with illness in the 2019 NFL season. It is safe to say that they are hoping to avoid another situation similar to that of quarterback Sam Darnold.

Bell has already dealt with his fair share of distractions and setbacks this year. He recently confirmed that New York was close to dealing him ahead of the Oct. 29 trade deadline. This comes just months after head coach Adam Gase reportedly never wanted to sign him for that much money in the first place. Despite all the noise, the veteran says he is ready to move forward as an important piece of this offense.

Bell played an integral role in the 34-27 win over the Giants with 68 total yards and a touchdown on 22 touches. Although he is still in the midst of an underwhelming 2019 campaign, there is no question that he remains as one of the few playmakers left at quarterback Sam Darnold's disposal.

The Jets have a chance to make it two straight with a favorable matchup against a one-win Washington Redskins team in Week 11. They are hoping that Bell will be back to 100 percent before then.
