The New York Jets made quite an investment on their offensive line. It appears running back Le'Veon Bell is happy with the commitment they made.

The Jets made their offensive line a point of emphasis in throughout the offseason. According to Connor Hughes of The Athletic, Le'Veon Bell likes what he sees from this group so far:

“I feel like in practice is when that happens,” he explained. “Right now we’re getting a rhythm with the offensive line. Each and every day we put new run plays in. We see what the offensive line blocks best, what ones I like best, and what works for us together. Right now we’re doing a bunch of run plays. We’re trying to find what is going to be our base for the year. Once we have our base down, we’ll get comfortable with it, and then it will get way easier.

“We have a special group up front. Those guys can get dirty. I love running behind them. It’s going to be a fun year.

Bell's excitement is certainly understandable. The Jets acquired two-time Pro Bowl guard Kelechi Osemele from the Oakland Raiders in exchange for a fifth-round pick. They also made headlines by bringing former Carolina Panthers center Ryan Kalil out of retirement. The five-time Pro Bowler will undoubtedly make a welcome addition to this group.

Bell has not been shy about expressing high hopes for the 2019 NFL season. He as already pledged to fantasy owners to make up for his absence in the 2018 campaign.

Regardless, the biggest beneficiary of New York's influx of talent should be quarterback Sam Darnold. It will be interesting to see how Darnold progresses with a much stronger supporting cast this time around.
