New York Jets running back Le'Veon Bell was the biggest bust in Fantasy Football last year, however, he has already pledged that things will be different in the 2019 NFL season.

Bell finally apologized to owners that had taken him early on in the fantasy drafts. According to Michael David Smith of Pro Football Talk, he has still urged them to take him with the No. 1 pick this time around:

Asked where he should be picked in fantasy this year, Bell didn’t hesitate: “First.”

Bell elaborated on the opportunities he will have in this new offense.

“As long as this offense does what this offense is going to do, I think anybody could be a No. 1 fantasy guy,” he said. “We’ve got so much talent.”

It is clear that there is no shortage of confidence from Bell. He had stuck to his bones by sitting out the entire 2018 campaign after contract negotiations with the Pittsburgh Steelers fell through. While it should be noted that some of his promises were broken throughout that process as well, his confidence is still certainly understandable.

The Jets managed to find their future franchise quarterback in Sam Darnold last year. Despite his promise, they are hoping Bell's presence will help serve as a stabilizing factor for Darnold as they look to take on a more balanced approach moving forward.

Regardless, it is safe to assume that Bell will be thrust into an immediate workhorse role given the investment New York made in him during free agency.

It will be interesting to see if fantasy owners ultimately take his word for it.
