As Le'Veon Bell and his future hang in the balance, more news is coming out about the feelings the New York Jets have about him, and it's not good.

The Jets have been listed as a potential team for the upcoming free agent, however, according to a new report from the New York Daily News, the team was concerned that Bell let himself get out of shape, thus causing the team to pause on their potential decision pursue him.

While Bell's teammate Antonio Brown frequently posts workout videos — thus making him attractive to potential team suitors, despite the drama surrounding him — Bell does not, and as a result, his over-230-pound frame is a cause for concern for the Jets brass.

NBC Sports, meanwhile, believes that it's not improbable to believe that Le'Veon Bell is out of shape, especially since he's been on the bench for so long.

“Bell doesn’t frequent Instagram to show off his abs. But perhaps he should, if that’s really a concern some NFL teams have. Other teams aren’t allowed to bring Bell in for a workout because he’s technically still a Steeler, but it would be easy for Bell to show on social media that he’s in shape. It wouldn’t be surprising if Bell got a little out of shape during a year of not playing, but a year of rest rather than the wear and tear that comes with playing NFL running back might actually make him healthier than he would have been if he had hit free agency a year ago.”

It should be interesting to see if Le'Veon Bell does, in fact, get approached by the Jets after all.
