The New York Jets are preparing to face the Miami Dolphins in Week 11, but rookie quarterback Zach Wilson is still not at 100%. Mike White meanwhile has been doing a respectable job in his place, but it appears Robert Saleh is planning to go with another signal-caller this weekend. Third-stringer Joe Flacco, who was previously one of the better QB's in the game many years ago. Via Rich Cimini:

As noted, Flacco's experience is definitely coming into play here in Jets head coach Robert Saleh's decision along with his familiarity with a blitz defense like Miami plays. New York just traded for Flacco three weeks ago in a deal with the Philadelphia Eagles.

However, Flacco did play for the Jets last season, making four starts. He failed to win any of them. While he's not the same quarterback of past, Saleh clearly has belief in the veteran. NY desperately needs a victory as they currently sit at 2-7 on the season. They've lost two straight heading into Sunday's game at home.

White will likely be in the picture as well and get some snaps. He's completed 88 passes for 953 yards for five touchdowns in four games, but the 26-year-old has also thrown eight interceptions. The Jets will be hoping Flacco can deal with the Dolphins' defense who have allowed only 19 points across the last two weeks.
