New York Jets running back Le'Veon Bell has not blanked his former team, the Pittsburgh Steelers, from his mental database. Walking into MetLife Stadium to face those same Steelers on Sunday, he donned the iconic yellow and black.

As if that wasn't enough (it wasn't), Bell shared a video of highlights split between the Steelers and Jets to the tune of Styx's “Renegade” — the unofficial theme song of the Steelers.

Bell's time with the Steelers is an interesting stint, to say the least. One of the greatest back in the franchise's history, the former All-Pro was a staple of the entertaining “Triple Bs” offense of Bell, Ben Roethlisberger and Antonio Brown.

In five seasons with the Steelers, Bell rushed for 5,336 yards and 35 touchdowns on 4.3 yards per carry. A do-it-all back, he also tallied 312 receptions for 2,660 yards and seven touchdowns. At one point, it appeared as if he would be a Pittsburgh-lifer.

Bell, amid a nasty contract dispute, did not play in the entirety of the 2018 season. That's when his relationship with the fanbase soured. He expects the crowd at MetLife Stadium to reflect that.

“It’ll probably be 50-50,” Bell said Thursday, via Rich Cimini of ESPN. “I think half will be happy to see me and still love me, and half that hates me, despises me. It is what it is. I’m going to show love, regardless. Anybody who’s wearing my jersey, I’ll go sign it. It’s going to be fun.”

Bell signed a four-year, $52.5 million deal with the Jets in the offseason. On the season, he has 204 rushes for 676 yards and three touchdowns. He also has 57 receptions for 404 yards and a score.
