After four seasons with the New York Jets, wide receiver Robby Anderson will be suiting up for a new team in 2020. The 26-year-old wideout signed a two-year deal with the Carolina Panthers at $20 million and $12 million guaranteed.

On his way out of New York, Anderson took to Instagram to show his appreciation for the Jets organization and “Jets Nation” as a whole.

In his four seasons with the Jets, Anderson recorded over 3,000 receiving yards and 20 touchdowns while leading the team in receiving in both 2017 and 2018. Last season, the former undrafted product recorded 52 catches for 779 yards and five touchdowns.

Anderson was one of the more sought-after receivers in the 2020 free-agent class and, after signing with Carolina, should give another weapon to new franchise quarterback Teddy Bridgewater and first-year head coach Matt Rhule.

As for the Jets, while the team will likely miss Anderson's production, his value may not have matched his price tag, and the team has already signed a replacement of sorts as they have agreed to terms with former Tampa Bay Buccaneers wideout Breshad Perriman.

Next season, New York will wheel out a wide receiver group headlined by Perriman, Jamison Crowder, and Quincy Enunwa.

Even with a solid season from Anderson last year, the Jets remained one of the worst passing offenses in the entire NFL. Their 194.4 passing yards per game ranked 29th in the NFL, and their 19 total pass touchdowns put them at No. 27.

Regardless of the team's lack of overall success over the past few seasons, Anderson had proved to be arguably the team's top option since he entered the league.
