New York Jets wide receiver Robby Anderson is among the notable names left on the market after the recent free agency frenzy. It appears he is in no rush to potentially decide on a new home.

Anderson has gained plenty of interest as one of the best wideouts still available. He even took to Twitter to preach the importance of patience:

Anderson's comments are indicative of his approach to free agency. Although he has already entertained his fair share of offers, he is willing to wait as long as he needs to in order to find one to his liking.

Anderson has good reason to be optimistic that it will all work out for the best. After all, he has established himself as one of the most talented deep threats in the league, and his route tree has steadily grown with each year. He finished the 2019 NFL season with 52 receptions for 779 receiving yards and five touchdowns despite the overall lackluster showing from the Jets offense.

New York is among the teams looking to secure Anderson's services for the long haul. However, it seems there is still some negotiating to do.

Anderson's comments could mean that he is willing to wait until after the 2020 NFL Draft, and the dust has cleared for what teams were able to add to the roster. The fact that this is expected to be one off the richest receiver classes in recent draft history certainly does not do him any favors. Regardless, it could still be used as leverage for those hoping to shore up even more firepower in the passing game.
