The lowly New York Jets are looking to hold a fire sale ahead of the upcoming league trade deadline. Amidst a struggling campaign, the team will keep their options open and look to deal anyone on the team given the right price and trade partners.

Via Adam Schefter of ESPN:

“The winless New York Jets would listen to trade offers on almost anybody on their roster. The Jets parted with two high-profile veterans last month, releasing Le'Veon Bell and trading defensive lineman Steve McLendon to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.”

Gang Green has already dealt two of their most tenured veterans in disgruntled running back Le'Veon Bell along with defensive lineman Steve McLendon. The previous releases have already made the Jets worse than ever while helping playoff contenders reload more weapons in their already-heavy arsenal.

The team's woes continue to pile up as they are still adamant about letting go of head coach Adam Gase, who has done an abysmal job of leading the team throughout the 2020 season. Jets quarterback Sam Darnold has also failed to live up to his potential in his third campaign in the league and was at the forefront of the Jets' 0-7 record thus far.

Perhaps their veterans in running back Frank Gore and wide receiver Jamison Crowder could use their talents to contribute to the cause of a winning team instead. Jets general manager Joe Douglas and the rest of the front office can only hope that their willingness to trade everyone will eventually help them land the top prize in the 2021 NFL Draft.
