It's no secret that New York Jets head coach Todd Bowles is on the hot seat and will probably lose his job at the end of the season. However, Bowles wants no part in discussing his job security, according to Rich Cimini of ESPN.com:

“I do not talk about my job,” Bowles said on a conference call with reporters. “Personally, I do not speak about my next job. I worry about tomorrow when Christmas comes and I worry about New England on Sunday. And I'll go from there.”

Bowles also shrugged off the Jets' reported interest in University of Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh, saying that he has no opinion on the rumor.

The 55-year-old also ripped the officiating after New York's overtime loss to the Green Bay Packers on Sunday afternoon, saying that he felt like the Jets were playing two teams.

He then stood by his comments afterward:

“I said what I said and I meant everything I said,” said Bowles. “All has been said, so I'm done with it. … I'm not going to sit here and play Monday-morning quarterback.”

With the loss, New York fell to 4-11 on the season.

The Jets have gone 24-39 since Bowles took over as head coach in 2015.

Bowles actually got off to a good start in New York, leading the Jets to 10 wins during his first year. New York narrowly missed the playoffs after a disastrous Week 17 loss to the Buffalo Bills that season, but the team seemed to be headed in the right direction.

However, in 2016 and 2017, the Jets won just five games each year.

New York will conclude its season by hosting the New England Patriots next week.
