The New York Jets just can't have anything go their way as head coach Robert Saleh said that Zach Wilson is not returning as quickly as the Jets would like.

Robert Saleh says that Zach Wilson is “still dealing with some stuff.” Wilson suffered a PCL injury in week 7 after taking a hit from New England Patriots pass rusher Matthew Judon.

This is bad news for the Jets as Zach Wilson is their quarterback of the future. If anything was shown today, it's that Mike White is not ready to be a starting quarterback in the NFL. Wilson hasn't exactly been great for the Jets but he has looked much better than Mike White has.

It seems like a reoccurring theme for the Jets where nothing can go their way. They finally drafted what they thought was going to be their franchise quarterback and now he's going to be sidelined for even longer than the three weeks that they imagined.

The Jets on the season have not been performing the way that they would hope. They are 2-7 on the season and sit in last place in the AFC East. They will take on the Miami Dolphins next week. Miami coming off an impressive win against the Baltimore Ravens last week. This is a winnable game for the Jets as Miami is coming into this contest 3-7. It will be interesting to see what the Jets do with Wilson and at the end of the day, this could all just be a precaution to look out for his future.
