New York Jets quarterback Zach Wilson is questionable to return today versus the New England Patriots due to a knee injury, Adam Schefter reported.

Wilson was hit low after throwing the ball out of bounds by Lawrence Guy. No penalty was called and coach Robert Saleh was animated on the sideline, upset at no flag thrown.

Wilson and the Jets are facing off against their long-time rival, the Patriots. The Jets are having another down year and losing their rookie QB in a year for developmental purposes wouldn't be ideal.

Zach was 6 of 10 on the day for 73 yards, he didn't have a touchdown or an interception to his name. On the year he has 1,117 yards, four touchdowns, and nine interceptions.

Chances are they will be cautious here and allow Wilson to sit out the rest of the game. They are currently down 24-7 at halftime, a lead that might be far too big for the Jets to recover from.

The first-year quarterback hasn't looked great this season. It's important for him to get back healthy because he is the QB of the franchise's future. He needs as many repetitions as he can get to help him get better for his future.

The Jets are hoping it is nothing major and just a minor injury to get him back on the field as soon as possible. They traded away franchise QB Sam Darnold due to his play and drafted Wilson in this year's draft. Wilson was drafted with the second pick of the 2021 NFL draft, a pick that surprised some.

Mike White replaced Wilson. He has little to no NFL experience. White immediately threw a three-yard touchdown.

Jets are 1-4 this year and losing Zach Wilson for an extended period of time would just add on to the terror the franchise has faced the past few years.
