New York Jets fans are already liking their new free agent pickup. Making his Gang Green debut, former Baltimore Ravens linebacker CJ Mosley kicked off the festivities at the Meadowlands with a sweet interception, completing an easy pick-six against the Buffalo Bills.

The 27-year-old Mosley was a first-round pick of the Ravens in the 2014 NFL Draft, spending his first five professional seasons with the club before choosing the Jets in free agency this past spring. The four-time Pro Bowler signed a massive deal for a defensive player: five years and $85 million.

If you can make only one first impression, Mosley's could not have gone any better.

Mosley's pick-six followed the Jets offense going three-and-out in their first possession of Sunday's game against the Bills. Second-year franchise quarterback Sam Darnold cannot both throw and catch the ball, and a drop from receiver Jamison Crowder (a new Jet this season like Mosley) cost New York a first down.

Under first-year head coach Adam Gase, New York intends to dominate on offense, but the defense scored first for Gang Green.

Le'Veon Bell is also making his Jets debut on Sunday after holding out and missing the entire 2018 season following a contract dispute with his former team, the Pittsburgh Steelers. Unhappy with the franchise tag, the three-time Pro Bowl running back sat out in 2018 and signed as a free agent with the Jets, who did not see him play in this year's preseason.

Between Bell and CJ Mosley, the Jets are in a good position to improve at running back and linebacker, respectively.
