The New York Jets and New York Giants have been trading punches in the battle for the city. Safety Jamal Adams has now taken matters into his own hands to begin the second half.

The Giants opening drive of the third quarter came to a screeching halt after Adams managed to rip the ball from quarterback Daniel Jones before returning it for a touchdown, via NFL Twitter:

The spectacular play from Adams essentially allowed the JEts to get the first opportunity to score in both halves. Perhaps the most impressive part was the fact that he managed to completely run right through running back Saquon Barkley in the process.

Adams was not shy about voicing his displeasure with his name being tied to trade rumors in the 2019 NFL season since his desire was to remain in New York for the long haul. Fortunately, all has since been forgiven and plays like this only help to solidify his importance to the team.
