New York Jets quarterback Joe Flacco showed off his arm and connected with Breshad Perriman for a 49-yard touchdown against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Taking the snap from the shotgun, Flacco took a five-step drop and threw a bomb down the middle of the field to Perriman, who made a great catch and hung on for the touchdown.

Thus far today Flacco has thrown for 146 yards. This season thus far he has thrown for 659 yards and four touchdowns. The Jets are currently winless and are looking squarely at the number one overall draft pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, which many expect them to take Trevor Lawrence with the pick.

The Jets are playing the Los Angeles Chargers, who have been the victims of a string of bad luck late in games over the past couple of weeks which have resulted in their 2-7 record. In spite of the record Justin Herbert has been a bright spot for the franchise, and looks to be the quarterback of the future in Los Angeles.
