Jimmy Crute had a tough night at the office Saturday when he took on Jamahal Hill at UFC Vegas 44. Hill was able to get the big KO victory in less than a minute.

Jimmy Crute was not able to find his groove in the UFC fight and Jamahal Hill's power advantage was evident early on. Crute was dropped the first time and survived. The second time he was unable to recover as Hill followed him down and hit him with a big follow-up punch.

The Australian UFC fighter took to social media to address the loss and let his fans know that he was all right. He was in good spirits despite the results of the contest.

“Down but never out,” the UFC fighter wrote. “Plenty of things to work on and I definitely need to change some things up. This is the fight game and it’s a game that I love to play. The two fighters were friendly with each other after the fight and only had positive things to say about each other. Jamahal Hill showed a lot of respect for the Australian UFC contender.

Jimmy Crute's record in the UFC is still a winning one at 4-3 but has now lost his last two bouts. The fight before saw him lose to Anthony Smith as a leg injury forced the doctor to step in and stop the contest.
