Jimmy Crute and Jamahal Hill finally have their matchup set. The pair were supposed to meet earlier in the year but the fight had to be rescheduled.

Now the fight is being targeted for a soon-to-be-announced Fight Night event on December 4. The news of the matchup was broken by MMA Reporter Jordan Ellis.

The fight features two rising stars in the light heavyweight division with both men making waves since they've arrived in the UFC. A win here could propel the winner into an important spot in the division.

Interestingly enough, both men are coming off of injuries in their last fights. Jimmy Crute injured his leg against Anthony Smith, whilst Jamahal Hill broke his arm against Paul Craig.

They will both be looking to get back in the win column and announce themselves at light heavyweight. The loser will, unfortunately, find themselves on a losing streak.

Jimmy Crute is coming off of a tough outing against Smith. The Australian injured his leg in the fight and the referee deemed him unable to continue.

Crute did everything he could to get back to his corner and be allowed to fight. His leg kept giving out and the referee had no choice but to put an end to it.

Jamahal Hill is coming off of a similar situation himself. The American light heavyweight found himself caught in a submission and refused to tap.

The bout had to be stopped once his arm snapped. The injury drew a lot of attention to him and if anything, he may have benefitted from it.

The fight is currently set for December 4 at a soon-to-be-announced Fight Night event.
