Jimmy Garoppolo looked phenomenal as the starting quarterback for the Patriots yesterday. He was managing the game extraordinarily well and had the Patriots up big on the Dolphins.
But, everything turned when Garoppolo took a big hit from Kiko Alonso and had to leave the game with a shoulder injury.
The Patriots had to throw in Jacoby Brissett as the starting quarterback because of the injury. Brissett handled the situation as best as he could and held off the Dolphins to give his team a 31-24 win.
Now, the Patriots look forward to Week 3. Unfortunately, they'll have to play against the Texans without Garoppolo, as an MRI revealed a sprained AC joint in his shoulder.

Jacoby Brissett will most likely get the start this Thursday, but the good news for the Patriots is that Garoppolo may return in Week 4 before New England finally gets Tom Brady back in the following week.
