It's only been one preseason game, but the Joel Embiid fever is real in the city of brotherly love.

The 76ers rookie followed his six-point, four-rebound performance from Tuesday by throwing down a between-the-legs dunk during shootaround.

He then went on to score his first points in front of Philly fans with this right-handed layup over the top of Marcin Gortat.

Joel Embiid finished with five points, three rebounds and a block in 12 minutes of action in a 125-119 loss to the Washington Wizards.

The Sixers will bring him along very slowly, especially with the recent injury to rookie forward Ben Simmons. All that's left for Sixers fans is to just “trust the process.”
