Philadelphia 76ers fans can expect to see their promising center, Joel Embiid, on the court longer now.

The 22-year-old Kansas product will finally get a chance to see more playing time as his minutes restriction will be increased to 28 minutes per game.

The game against the Kings has been cancelled prolonging Embiid's welcome development a bit later.

But this is certainly good news for him as he was seen very frustrated last week with the minutes cap and could not compete in close games once he reaches his limit. It also gives Embiid the opportunity to produce even better numbers than his already impressive averages of 18.2 points, 7.8 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 2.4 blocks per game.

However, despite his increased playing time, he should still sit out some games especially on back-to-back sets as it is still part of the team's plan to preserve his health as he is continuing to recover from the pair of foot injuries he suffered the past two years.
