James Harden is currently playing the best basketball of his career and has been on a tear since the season started.
With averages of 28.5 points, 8.1 rebounds, 12.0 assists and 1.4 steals, it does not come as a surprise that he is one of the early favorites to win the MVP award this year and has also drawn a lot of comparisons to other NBA greats.
Houston Rockets player development coach, John Lucas, recently gave his thoughts on whose game reminds him of Harden's. He did not hold back and compared him one of the best who ever played the game.

While many may think that Harden's game is different from the Los Angeles Lakers great, it's still hard to deny that he's playing better than ever not to be given enough credit.
If The Beard continues to play at the level he's at right now, it will be certain that he'll receive more compliment in the future and may get more comparisons to other legends of the game.
