Now in the early days of his vacation, John Wall has been relaxing and keeping his mind off basketball for the meantime. With the Washington Wizards eliminated in the second round of the playoffs against the Boston Celtics, the four-time All-Star point guard is doing his best to move past it.
He recently took to his Snapchat where he shared to his followers the new tattoo he got on his ankle. It was a tribute to his childhood favorite video game, Super Mario Bros. 3, and had Mario in his flying raccoon suit. It can also be noticed that he also has mushroom tattooed beside his new ink.

Wall’s recent post goes to show that he is not dwelling on the painful defeat they suffered in Game 7 only a few weeks ago. This summer, it can be expected that the former Kentucky Wildcat will continue to work on his game, to be the best player that he can be.
It will also be interesting what moves the Wizards front office will make to bolster their lineup, in order for them to reach more success, and even contend for the title in the coming years. For now, Wall will have a few months to rest his body and prepare for next season’s grind.
