While Kobe Bryant will say goodbye to the Los Angeles Lakers, Jordan Clarkson remains confident he won't this offseason.

The 23-year-old Clarkson will be a restricted free agent this summer. Although the Lakers have struggled over the past couple of years, the young guard has proven to be Los Angeles' most consistent player over that period of time. The 6'5″ Clarkson has averaged 14.0 points during his first two years in the league, leading the Lakers in total points during the 2015-16 season.

While a young scoring guard like Clarkson will be in high demand on the market, the second-year player declared he wants to be back in Los Angeles next season:

With the Lakers in further rebuilding mode, they will need all of the continuity they can get by bringing back the trio of Clarkson, D'Angelo Russell and Julius Randle in 2016-17.
