Not long after bagging a shocking split-decision victory over Tyron Woodley, it looks like Jake Paul has already found his next opponent. It may come in the form of another former UFC champion in Jorge Masvidal who for his part, had quite a scathing tirade against Paul.

Masvidal is clearly doing his bit to hype the potential matchup, as he blasted not only Jake Paul, but his brother, Logan, as well. It appears that Masvidal doesn't care who he ends up fighting (he would go up against both of them if given the chance) so long as he gets paid to do it:

“I'm gonna beat up all the Pauls,” Masvidal said, via Marc Raimondi of ESPN. “If they put money in my pocket, that Logan Paul dude, Jake Paul, whoever Paul dudes — if they put money in my pocket, of course I'd like to break some Disney characters' faces. I've been fighting men who have been training since 7, 8 years old to do the same thing to me what I want to do to them. Fighting guys like [the Pauls] is a bonus, man.”

Jake Paul and Woodley reportedly earned $2 million each from their exhibition match so it isn't surprising that fighters are now lining up to get in the ring against the YouTube sensation turned professional boxer.

One huge stumbling block for the potential mega-fight, however, is Masvidal's current contract with the UFC. The 36-year-old is hoping that he'll be able to work something out with Dana White and Co.:

“UFC would have to sign off, but nothing is impossible,” Masvidal said. “Dana doesn't like those guys and Dana knows I'll go in there and put a hurting on those kids. Maybe he does send in the f—ing assassin.”

It seems that Jake Paul himself is open to fighting Masvidal. The younger Paul sibling didn't have too many nice things to say about Masvidal in a recent interview. Apparently, Paul wasn't happy that Masvidal picked Tyron Woodley to win in their previous bout:

“I wasn’t surprised by Masvidal,” Paul said, via Mike Bohn of MMA Junkie. “He has the same manager as Woodley and the guy’s kind of an airhead. Let’s be honest. Masvidal’s not smart. Does anyone here listen to a Masvidal interview and go, ‘Oh wow, that guy’s intellectual. He’s a smart guy. The way he talks, he’s very well-spoken.’ He’s a street fighter gangster who got knocked the f*ck out in his last fight, so maybe he’s losing a couple brain cells.”

Paul continued to fire shots at Masvidal and he even went as far as calling the UFC fighter a “hoe”:

“If you want to switch up – at one moment he’s my friend – he’s saying, ‘Let’s train, let’s do a video together. You come to my bakery down the street I want to do a thing with you,” Paul said. “Then, oh, snap, all of a sudden he wants to switch up. That’s now how I was raised. Not here in Ohio. If you want me to be your friend, I’m your friend. If he wants to switch up, hoes will be hoes.”

The narrative is clearly fascinating and people have begun buying into it. Do we already have Jake Paul's next opponent on the horizon? I personally wouldn't mind if it turned out to be Jorge Masvidal.
