The 2017 NBA Draft is inching ever so closer now being less than two weeks away, which has led to movement across the league with scheduling numerous workouts with potential prospects.

One of the more intriguing players in this year's class has been Kansas swingman Josh Jackson, who has drawn significant interest from teams atop of the draft board. In light of that, Jackson has narrowed down the list of potential landing spots, according to Jeff Goodman of ESPN.

What makes this more interesting is that on Monday it was reported that Jackson was promised to be selected by the Los Angeles Lakers or Philadelphia 76ers, who hold the second and third overall picks in the draft respectively. Meanwhile, the Boston Celtics appear to be honing in on Washington point guard Markelle Fultz for the top overall pick.

On top of that, Jackson is expected to hold a private workout with the Lakers on Tuesday afternoon and meet with management over lunch. All of this only gives off the vibe that he has an inkling that he will land with either the second or third selection in the draft.

Jackson is a highly athletic player with unique above-the-rim explosiveness along with being a stout tough defender. There are questions about his shooting ability, but he has proven to have plenty of potential to develop into a high-impact talent in the NBA.
