One of the top prospects in next month's draft, Josh Jackson, has been gaining a lot of steam lately, and some scouts are even projecting him to be one of the top three picks in the lottery. However, news has emerged that the Kansas product will need to undergo anger management classes, among others, to comply with diversion agreement for a misdemeanor vandalism incident back in December.

The 20-year-old will need to enroll himself to anger counseling no later than October 31, and completing a minimum of 20 hours of community service on the same date. He should also write an apology letter to the victims by June 30, according to Jesse Newell of KansasCity.com.

“A diversion agreement for former Kansas men’s basketball player Josh Jackson includes stipulations that he attend anger management classes, refrain from alcohol and recreational drugs during the diversion period of 12 months and a write an apology letter, according to Douglas County court records.”

“Jackson was originally charged with one misdemeanor count of criminal property damage after prosecutors alleged he kicked the driver’s door and rear taillight of a car driven by KU women’s basketball player McKenzie Calvert during the early morning hours of Dec. 9 outside the Yacht Club bar and restaurant.”

Jackson had a solid campaign during his lone season with the Jayhawks, where he averaged 16.3 points, 7.4 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.7 steals and 1.1 blocks per game. He is widely regarded as the best wing player in the talented pool who have declared for the draft, but his stock might take a hit now that his off-court issues have been reported.
