The 2018 NFL Draft is poised to be one of the more quarterback-heavy affairs in recent years. As of right now, the fight to be No. 1 overall has come down to a few gunslingers.

Among the notable names is former UCLA quarterback Josh Rosen. With the interview process underway at the NFL combine, players like Rosen are forced to give cliche answers to the most generic questions, according to Albert Breer of the MMQB

Josh Rosen asked if he thinks he’s the best player in the draft: “Absolutely. And I think every person in this draft should have the same exact answer.”

Rosen's response should come as no surprise since it's a common thought every player has likely given thus far. What's great is the UCLA product will have the opportunity to actually prove it.

Rosen is one of the top quarterback prospects in this year's draft along with USC's Sam Darnold and Wyoming's Josh Allen. Even Oklahoma's Baker Mayfield has emerged as a darkhorse candidate as the first off the board. With the Cleveland Browns selecting a quarterback with either the first overall pick or the fourth selection seemingly a foregone conclusion, it has become a matter of which young gunslinger they decide to move forward with.

Despite any individual's thoughts about the No. 1 kid in the pool, Rosen has made a solid case as arguably the purest passer of the bunch. He has caught plenty of flak over the years for his somewhat boisterous personality off the field, so he will need to shake that negative stigma if he is going to be entrusted with helping to turn the fortunes of a franchise like the Browns around.

The 2018 NFL Draft comes our way April 26 from Arlington, Texas.
