The struggling Atlanta Falcons will get one of their top offensive weapons in wideout Julio Jones available to play in their upcoming Week 7 matchup against the Detroit Lions. He recently nursed a hamstring injury and saw limited action in the team practice last week but will suit up on Sunday, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

In their first game on the field after the recent firing of former head coach Dan Quinn, the Falcons responded and came up with a big win against another slumping team in the Minnesota Vikings.

Quarterback Matt Ryan led the team's offense and fired 371 passing yards on a 30/40 clip to go with four passing touchdowns.

The seven-time Pro Bowler in Jones balled out and tallied 137 receiving yards on eight receptions along with two scoring touchdowns while fellow wideout Calvin Ridley added 61 receiving yards on six touches with a touchdown scored for the Falcons. Tight end Hayden Hurst also found himself on the end zone along with 57 receiving yards on four catches.

The game concluded on a 40-23 demolition job by the Falcons. After a big win, they hope to carry over their momentum against the Lions who are also in high spirits after dominating the Jacksonville Jaguars on a 34-16 victory in their previous Week 6 matchup.

Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford got his first touchdown pass of the season along with 223 passing yards on 19-of-31 passes completed for his team while rookie De'Andre Swift had an impressive outing with 116 rushing yards on 14 carries and two rushing touchdowns to lift his team to a 2-3 record.

With Jones confirmed to be back at the helm for the Falcons, the Week 7 matchup between the two teams will prove to be an exciting encounter.
