The Drew League is continuing to become one of the favorite events for current and former NBA players during the summer. The competition has always been high, and the participants are using the games as a way to help them keep in shape as well.

Los Angeles Lakers forward Julius Randle became the latest pro to take his act to the pro-am league, where he showcased his impressive skill set. He was even seen showing off his dribbling skills when he went coast-to-coast and bullied his way for an and-one basket.

This is very good news for the fans of the Lakers as the incoming fourth-year player appears to be in tip-top shape. He could be even more of a mismatch to opponents if his handles get more tight as it’s a rare sight for a 6-foot-9 power forward to lead a fastbreak by bringing down the ball.

Since suffering an injury in his very first NBA game three years ago, the 22-year-old Kentucky product has bounced back strong with two solid seasons for the Lakers. This past campaign, he averaged a career high 13.2 points and 3.6 assists, to go along with 8.6 rebounds per game.
