Los Angeles Lakers' forward Julius Randle announced on Tuesday that he and his long time girlfriend Kendra Shaw are engaged to be married.
Randle, who is just completing his second season in the NBA, popped the question while on vacation in Greece.
Shaw, is a Lexington Kentucky native and alum at the University of Kentucky where she and Randle met.
She is also a former 2013 Miss Kentucky Teen USA semi-finalist, and has an AA in Fashion Merchandising. Shaw continued her studies at The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Los Angeles after relocating with Randle during his rookie year.
Randle has been more than happy to show her off since before he was drafted, and now that he has a foundation in the NBA, he has decided to make it official.
