Pop singer Justin Bieber reached out to his Twitter followers last week to get his friend, L.A. Clippers point guard Chris Paul, to the All-Star Game.

The two have been known to have a solid friendship, with Bieber attending many of his games courtside and even tending to his son, Chris Paul Jr.

Bieber's latest helping hand got about 20,000 votes in the span of three hours for Paul, who was fifth in votes among Western Conference since Thursday's initial release.

Last season the Canadian singer tried to get Toronto Raptors guard Kyle Lowry a helping hand by promoting them through his Twitter account, but forgot to use the hashtag “#NBAVote,” costing the 6-foot guard nearly 55,000 votes on retweets.

Lowry started the last two All-Star games even without Bieber's help.
