San Antonio Spurs superstar Kawhi Leonard has heard his name pop up in a slew of trade scenarios in recent weeks. There are said to be several teams interested in the former San Diego State stand-out's services, including the Boston Celtics and Philadelphia 76'ers.

Leonard, now 27 years of age, was eligible to sign a five-year, $221 million super-maximum contract extension on Monday. That day came and went, and no offer sheets were signed. If you're an avid NBA fan, you've heard the rumblings: Kawhi doesn't want to play with the Spurs anymore.

So… this brings us to what sort of package teams will be able to offer the Spurs for Leonard.

The Celtics (55-27 and 2nd in the Atlantic Division last regular season) have a treasure trove of future Draft picks at their disposal, as well as several talented players on the roster. However, according to a report from ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, the C's would like to keep certain guys around, including Jayson Tatum, Jalen Brown, Kyrie Irving, Gordon Hayward, and Al Horford.

The Sixers (52-30 and 3rd in the Atlantic last season) are a team on the rise, as most hoops fans know. They're stacked with outstanding, young talent. However, like the Celtics, Philly would also like to keep their core players on-board (Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons, and Markelle Fultz).

“So far, the Sixers have held out three players — Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons and Markelle Fultz – in talks,” Wojnarowski writes in his recent article. “Boston hasn't included five players, including Jayson Tatum, Jalen Brown, Kyrie Irving, Gordon Hayward and Al Horford. The Celtics and Sixers have offered pick-heavy packages that haven't moved the Spurs, league sources said.”

There is still some concern regarding Leonard's lingering quad issue, but it certainly hasn't stopped teams around the NBA from inquiring about his availability. For now, though, there is no trade in place.
