Here is a story that evolved from a joke into a near tragedy.
Although she has been roasted on the internet for comments she made regarding the Golden State Warriors losses in the NBA Finals, Ayesha Curry is the people’s choice when picking the type of wife or girlfriend that fans would want if they were an NBA player.
Social media erupted in a controversy earlier this year after Kyrie Irving’s girlfriend (now ex), Kehlani, appeared in an Instagram picture in bed with her ex while dating Kyrie.
Twitter users immediately referred to Ayesha as the model life partner and wife, in comparison to Kehlani.

Followers continually harassed Kehlani non-stop, posting a series of mean tweets and Instagram posts.
After that round of insults and trolling comments, Kehlani attempted to commit suicide, but was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Irving decided later to address the issue. Kyrie let everyone know that the picture was released when he and Kehlani were not dating.
Months after the suicide incident, Kehlani went on her social media to congratulate Irving when he and the Cavaliers won the NBA Finals. Her post was met with more insulting comments and troll posts. They were so horrible that she eventually deleted her page, and she has not returned.
The internet can be very unkind, and Ayesha objected to comments shaming everyone involved in this bullying.
Kehlani is doing fine, and back to her regular career singing, but so far she has decided not to engage on social media.
