Kemba Walker is poised to follow through on his career performance from last season.

Walker saw his best year as a professional in 2015-2016 after averaging 20.9 points, 4.4 rebounds, 5.2 assists, and 1.2 steals per ball game for the Charlotte Hornets. What’s even more impressive were the 81 games played by the former Huskie.

However, the team’s best player underwent knee surgery earlier this summer and the Hornets have been ever so cautious in handling his situation. As a result, Walker was able to return to court recently, bringing much needed life to the atmosphere in training camp.

Charlotte will be missing key players from last season, but their holdovers are very capable of filling the gap. Kemba Walker will be joined by Nicolas Batum, forming a dangerous one-two punch for the Hornets.
